Strongest & Most Durable

Metal brackets are incredibly strong and can withstand the forces needed to move teeth, even in complex cases.

From simple to highly complex orthodontic problems, traditional braces can handle any case with precision.

Faster for Complex Cases

Proven Track Record

Decades of successful outcomes make traditional braces the most trusted orthodontic treatment available.

Modern Improvements

Today's braces are nothing like the braces of the past. Technology has made them more comfortable and efficient than ever.

Smaller, More Comfortable Brackets

Modern low-profile brackets are smaller and smoother than old-style braces, reducing irritation and making them more comfortable to wear.

Heat-Activated Wires

Advanced nickel-titanium wires use body heat to provide gentle, continuous force for more comfortable and efficient tooth movement.

Less Friction, Faster Results

Modern bracket designs create less friction between the wire and bracket, allowing teeth to move more quickly and comfortably.

More Aesthetic Than Ever

Today's metal braces are sleeker and less noticeable than traditional braces from years past, with a more refined appearance.

What to Expect

Understanding your treatment journey helps you feel prepared and confident.

Initial Appointment

Your first appointment typically takes 1-2 hours. We'll clean your teeth, bond the brackets, place the archwire, and show you how to care for your braces.

You may feel some pressure as we bond the brackets, but the process is painless. Your teeth may feel tender for a few days afterward – this is completely normal.

Adjustment Schedule

You'll visit us every 4-8 weeks for adjustments. These quick appointments (usually 15-30 minutes) allow us to change wires, check progress, and make any needed modifications.

At each visit, kids and teens can choose new elastic colors to personalize their smile!

Care Instructions

Oral Hygiene: Brush after every meal and floss daily using a floss threader or orthodontic flosser. We'll show you the best techniques.

Foods to Avoid: Stay away from hard foods (ice, hard candy), sticky foods (caramel, gum), and chewy foods (bagels, licorice) that could damage brackets.

What You Can Eat: Soft foods, cooked vegetables, pasta, dairy, fish, soft fruits, and most of your regular diet!

Oral Hygiene Is Critical!

Good oral hygiene is essential during orthodontic treatment. Plaque buildup around brackets can lead to white spots on teeth (decalcification) or cavities.
