Is Your Child Ready?
Not every child needs early treatment, but an evaluation helps us monitor development and intervene at the ideal time if needed. Most importantly, early evaluations are FREE at Haeger Orthodontics!
What to Expect
Ages 6-10
This is the ideal window for Phase 1 treatment with Invisalign First. Your child has a mix of baby teeth and permanent teeth, and we can guide jaw development while they're still growing.
Treatment Duration
Early treatment typically lasts 12-18 months, depending on your child's specific needs. This phase sets the stage for healthy development and may reduce the need for extensive treatment later.
What's Next?
After Phase 1 treatment, we'll monitor your child's development during their growing years. Some children may need Phase 2 treatment (usually braces or Invisalign Teen) once all permanent teeth have erupted, while others may not need any additional treatment.
Success Tips for Parents
- Help your child establish a routine for aligner wear
- Use compliance indicators to track progress together
- Celebrate milestones to keep motivation high
- Make aligner care part of the bedtime routine
